The 40m/131ft superyacht is the largest vessel in the flybridge range and offers three decks in a full-wide-body design while remaining under 300 GT. The exterior styling comes from Mauro Micheli, co-founder of Officina Italiana Design, who worked in collaboration with the Strategic Product Committee led by Mr Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

M/Y BELLISSIMA has a strong athletic appearance characterised by horizontal lines from the raked bow to the stern. A simple monochrome colour scheme merges the hull with the superstructure, constructed of carbon fibre, steel and glass. Spherical crystals form the counter-curving windshield, and the dark glazing running along all three decks allows an abundance of natural light into the interior while maintaining guest privacy. The air intake grills and carbon fibre detailing is in homage to classic car design, while the glass fashion plates enhance the vessel aerodynamics.

The stern has been created to give guests a close connection to the water, providing more than 60m²/645.8ft² of space divided between the beach club and cockpit. Other exterior areas include a sunbed on the bow for the use of the occupants of the Master suite, an alfresco dining area for 10 on the upper deck aft, side walkways that create closed balconies and a sundeck social area for laid-back afternoons in the sunshine or shade.

Inside, the main salon has a ceiling height greater than 2m/6.7ft and 270° views. Fine glass and polished rosewood further amplify the natural and artificial lighting. The accommodation places the Master suite on the main deck forward, while four other guest cabins with en-suite facilities are on the lower deck.

A pair of MTU engines each producing 2,638 MPH are predicted to give a top speed of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 23 knots, which will be confirmed at sea trials.
